These terms govern your use of ProfitRank, a Shopify application operated by NoMilk ApS, Strøget 38, 7430 Ikast, Denmark, CVR 40266372 (“we”, “us”). By installing or using ProfitRank you agree to these terms on behalf of the business that operates the Shopify store (“you”, the “merchant”). If you do not agree, do not install the app.
1. The service
ProfitRank analyses your store's products, orders and inventory to calculate a profitability score (“SmartScore”) for each product, and offers related features including collection re-ordering, manual boosts, a portfolio index, and built-in A/B testing.
Collection re-ordering is off by default. It only changes the order of products in a collection after you enable it for that collection or globally. You remain responsible for how your storefront is presented to your customers.
SmartScores, forecasts, test results and other outputs are informational tools, not financial or business advice. They depend on the accuracy and completeness of the data in your Shopify store — for example, products without a cost price set in Shopify are scored without the margin factor.
2. Eligibility
ProfitRank is a business tool for merchants operating a Shopify store. You must have the authority to bind the business you install it for, and your use of the app must comply with Shopify's terms and the laws that apply to your store.
3. Fees and billing
ProfitRank is offered on three subscription plans, priced in US dollars:
- Starter — $19 per 30 days
- Growth — $59 per 30 days
- Pro — $99 per 30 days
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. If you uninstall the app before the trial ends, you pay nothing. After the trial, your plan is billed every 30 days through Shopify's billing system and appears on your Shopify invoice — we never collect or store your payment details. Applicable taxes are handled by Shopify per its billing terms.
You can cancel at any time from within Shopify by uninstalling the app; billing stops per Shopify's billing rules. We may change prices or plans; changes apply from your next billing cycle and will be announced with reasonable notice, and Shopify will ask you to approve any new recurring charge.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keeping your Shopify data (prices, costs, inventory) accurate — the app's outputs are only as good as the data it reads
- Reviewing the effect of any re-ordering or boost you enable on your own storefront
- Operating a lawful cookie consent mechanism on your storefront if you enable A/B testing — the app respects consent through Shopify's Customer Privacy API, but the consent banner itself is yours
- Complying with the privacy and consumer laws that apply to your store and customers
5. Data and privacy
How we process store data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: you are the data controller, we are the data processor, we store the minimum needed to score products, and we delete your data when you uninstall in line with Shopify's redaction webhooks.
6. Intellectual property
We own the app, its scoring models, and everything we built. You own your store's data. You grant us the right to process that data solely to provide the service. Scores and metrics the app derives from your data are yours to use for your business.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer or build a competing service from the app, and you may not use it to probe or disrupt our systems or other merchants' stores.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep ProfitRank available and scores fresh, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled recalculations, maintenance windows and factors outside our control (including Shopify's own availability) can delay or interrupt the service.

8. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that using ProfitRank will increase your revenue, margin, conversion rate or any other business metric. A/B test results reflect your store's actual traffic during the test period and are not a promise of future performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost sales, lost profits, or loss of data — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us for that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Termination
You can stop using ProfitRank at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store; billing stops per Shopify's billing rules and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or use the app in a way that harms the service or other merchants; where practical we will warn you first.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice inside the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; the current version is always at this page's address.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, with the court of our registered seat as the agreed venue, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
